Clinic Prime Istanbul Review
This website Clinic Prime Istanbul review reflects my personal experiences with Clinic Prime Istanbul. All opinions are my own and are not intended to defame or harm the reputation of Clinic Prime Istanbul or its staff.
When I was first researching clinics, I was surprised to see some with overwhelmingly positive reviews. At the time, I didn’t understand why — it only became clear when I tried to post a negative review of my own experience.
Leaving a negative review is the last thing I wanted to do, but unfortunately, my experience with Clinic Prime Istanbul left me no choice.
Treatment Overview
I underwent an all-on-6 full arch treatment at Clinic Prime Istanbul, but the results have left me with ongoing issues. When I reached out via WhatsApp to request corrections, the clinic eventually stopped responding.
Main problems (documented in photos):
- Midline deviation:I noticed a misalignment after treatment that affected both function and appearance.
- Chipped zirconium prosthesis:The clinic told me this was "not a problem for function."
- Colour mismatch:The top arch (shade 1M1) doesn’t match the bottom. The top was replaced after my lip kept catching on my teeth when speaking or smiling. By the time I returned seven months later, the bottom arch had yellowed. My request to correct this was not addressed.
In total, I travelled to Turkey four times for this treatment. I was prepared to return a fifth time, but communication ceased after I raised concerns.
If you’re planning dental tourism to Turkey, I suggest factoring in the potential cost of additional visits for follow-up or corrective work.
⚠️ Important Advice
Avoid paying in cash — always use a credit card if possible.
Why?
- Cash: No paper trail, no protection, no chargeback if things go wrong.
- Credit card: Offers more security, including chargeback options in some countries.
Payment Experience
I wanted to pay with a credit card but was told the Turkish government charges a 10% fee on large credit card transactions. This turned out to be incorrect.
Credit Card Surcharge Issue
During payment, I was informed there would be an additional 10% charge for paying by credit card. This raised concerns, as Turkish law appears to prohibit such fees.
According to Article 17 of the Turkish Bank Cards and Credit Cards Law (No. 5464) — available on the official Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency website (bddk.org.tr) —
“Merchants shall not demand any additional fee, commission, or expense under any name whatsoever from the cardholder in return for accepting payment by card.”
Based on this, adding a surcharge for credit card payments may be inconsistent with Turkish law.

Overall Impression
In my opinion, the outcome of my treatment fell below the standard I would expect from a professional clinic. I’m sharing my experience to help others make informed decisions about dental care abroad.
